Founders and translator, Anna Zielińska and Magdalena Szpilman, are the core of the team:

I have studied law for a period of five years, including two years of British law. My academic career (M.A. in Law) has afforded me the opportunity to become knowledgeable in legal matters, and specifically regarding laws pertaining to the European Union. My professional career includes a three year contract with Israel's Embassy to Poland, during which time I was employed by the Economical Department. My responsibilities at the Embassy prepared me for business translations, both written and oral, as well as translating business meetings, diplomatic visits, and business seminars. Moreover I have obtained the knowledge of political vocabulary while cooperating with AIPAC (a lobbying organization in Washington). During my work for the Tirgum.pl I also received technical training which prepared me to translate movies for lector as well as to work on various professional software for translating subtitles.

• 2003: Awarded Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Educational Scholarship, Tel Aviv University, Department for Middle East Studies.

Professional experience

• Since October 2007: Palestinian Mission Desk Officer in Polish Humanitarian Organization.
• Since July 2004: Trade Officer, Economic Department, Embassy of Israel, Warsaw.
• Since May 2006 Conference Director “Security and Democracy in the Middle East: Towards Common Euro-American Approach”. The program is coordinated between the Polish Institute of International Affairs in Poland and AIPAC in USA.

I have studied Spanish Philology in the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-american Studies at the Warsaw University, Neo-philology Faculty for a period of five years. My academic career (M.A. in Spanish Philology) has afforded me the opportunity to become knowledgeable in linguistic matters, and specifically Spanish and English. My professional career includes cooperation with Jewish institutions in Poland and in the Unites States. My responsibilities prepared me for translations, both written and oral on numerous field of expertise. Moreover, during my university and professional career I have obtained the knowledge of culture and religious science vocabulary. For the last two years I have been cooperating with the American Publishing House “Hamodia” (newspaper, magazines, publications). During my work for the Tirgum.pl I also received technical training which prepared me to translate movies for lector as well as to work on various professional software for translating subtitles.
